The
American Chesapeake Club (ACC) supported
the Oregon show on March 31st and April
1st. |
We had a nice showing
of our dogs in both breed and obedience.
I was very proud to win the ACC medallion
trophies for both Breed wins and Obedience
wins. |
|
ACC only offers Medallions
at one show a year per state. |
Beauty and
brains :-). |
|
Kathy
and "Chella"
won the Utility B class getting her ever so
close to that elusive OTCH title.
Historically only two Chesapeake owners have
ever earned an OTCH.
Congrats to Kathy & "Cantons
Blue By U Of Wildwood UDX OM2
VER AX AXJ" (By CH Cantons
Sargent
Major UD & Wildwood's Skittles)
|
April was a good month,
at the Sherwood trial on the 29th, Chella
earned another placement in Utility for
additional OTCH points as well as the
high scores needed to get her second OM.
Wish them luck in the near future! |
From Novice A to reaching
for the stars, Kathy and Chella make quite a
team.
Go
Chella GO!!
|

"Never"
turned in excellent performances in Open &
Utility earning two second place ribbons and
a third place ribbon adding to our hunt for
the UDX. We need 10 legs for the title and have
now earned five. We are on our way to possibly
strive for an OTCH.....
Never also won the Highest
Scoring Chesapeake trophies both Saturday AND
Sunday, winning the ACC medallion both days!
|
At the Sherwood club
Never qualified for another UDX leg and
we are now past the halfway point! Only
four more legs needed..
We are very proud of our boy. |
On to the next shows....
|
Dami
won Winners Bitch in the show for a 4
point major. With three more points she
will have her championship. Shown by Nita
Schaeffer.
|
| Dami's puppies.. are here! Three
girls & four boys. |
|
 |
| Brass
won Best Of Winners for a 4 point
major and will be going back to work with
Leo where they will be competing in upcoming
field trials. Aptly handled by a junior
handler Amy. |
 |
| Hula
earned a first place in her debut into the
obedience world at 8 months of age. She
did a great job and we are tickled to see
her start so well. |
|
Drumm
qualified in the Open B ring
for his third leg giving him the title.
B-Vers Native Drumm CDX.
Owned and trained by Nita Schaeffer.
Look to see them in the
Utility ring soon! |

|
Totem
was nicely shown by Teresa Bradley & won Best
Of Breed on Saturday then went on to show in the
sporting group and win a group placement
under Nat Horn (well known Chesapeake
breeder and judge) .
On Sunday Teresa showed Totem to a Best of Opposite
Sex.
Totem ALSO won ACC's medallion
both days from the breed ring.
